Footage shows settlers beating dog, pushing over a woman and child in the West Bank

Palestinian media outlets publish footage of a settler beating a dog with a stick in the South Hebron Hills area of the southern West Bank.
According to reports, the dog is a guard dog owned by a Palestinian resident of Khirbet a-Rakiz.
Additional footage said to be from the same incident shows a settler entering a family’s home and knocking over a woman, who falls on the child standing next to her.

The police say they have opened an investigation into the incident, adding that officers arrived at the scene, took testimonies from residents, and began working to locate the suspect.
Investigations into incidents of settler violence rarely lead to arrests.
