At least four Hamas operatives and a member of a smaller terror group were present at a police station in Gaza City when it was struck by the Israeli Air Force earlier today, the military says.

Palestinian media reported that the strike killed nine people and wounded another 15, including a 13-year-old girl.

In a statement, the IDF says that it targeted the police station while terror operatives were gathered there to advance attacks on troops stationed in the Strip.

“At the time of the strike, at least four terrorists from the military wing of the Hamas terror group and a terrorist from the Popular Resistance Committees terror organization were present,” the military says, adding that it will provide an update on the strike once the results are clear.

Half an hour before the Gaza City strike, the IDF struck in central Gaza, killing a Hamas terrorist who invaded Israel during the October 7, 2023, onslaught, according to the IDF.
