Israel opens exhibition at UN for terrorism remembrance day

Israel’s Mission to the UN opens an exhibition commemorating Israeli victims of terror attacks at the UN building in New York.

The exhibition features photos and a short eulogy of each of the victims to mark the UN’s first-ever international remembrance day for terrorism victims.

In a statement announcing the exhibit, Ambassador Danny Danon slams the Palestinian Authority for paying welfare stipends to convicted terrorists and their families.

“These hostile acts of terror are cowardly, and the terrorists who perpetrate them incite further violence against our people as they are considered heroes in their society,” Dannon says.
