Liberman tells Netanyahu where he can take his coalition offer

Avigdor Liberman responds to Netanyahu’s call for him to join the coalition, and while he doesn’t say “no” outright, says a whole lot of other things that would lead one to that conclusion.

“All the spinning of Netanyahu won’t change the simple facts: once again, in direct contradiction to what he promised during elections, he is conducting talks with Tzipi [Livni] and Boujie [Isaac Herzog], with the same party that he termed just a year ago a party whose members are not Zionist and threatened that its him or them,” he writes.

He also accuses Netanyahu of not leading a true right-wing coalition, saying he hasn’t fought terror, hasn’t built in Jerusalem and in settlement blocs and has returned Palestinian attackers’ bodies for burial.

“Any link between him and the nationalist camp is totally coincidental,” he writes. “When they have a serious and true offer for Yisrael Beytenu, we’ll address it.”
