The Jusidman Family Charitable Foundation will contribute NIS 200 million ($69 million) toward establishing the new Jusidman Rehabilitation Hospital campus, in partnership with the Tel Aviv Foundation and the Reuth Association in Tel Aviv.

The hospital, with an estimated total cost of NIS 1.1 billion ($390 million), is expected to become the largest rehabilitation hospital in Israel.

The new hospital, which will incorporate the Reuth Rehabilitation Hospital now in South Tel Aviv, is set to open in Sde Dov, north Tel Aviv, in 2032. It will contain a new 540-bed facility, serving 10,000 patients a year, and include a research and development hub and a PTSD clinic for IDF veterans.

The Jusidman Family Charitable Foundation was established by Mexican-Israeli magnate Daniel Jusidman, founder of Truper, Latin America’s largest manufacturer and marketer of hardware and hand tools.

“Through the Jusidman Rehabilitation Hospital, we hope to contribute to the recovery of those who have defended Israel and paid a heavy personal price in its service,” Igal Jusidman, Representative of the Jusidman Family Charitable Foundation, says in a statement. “This is our way of saying, thank you for your service.”
