Palestinian allegedly stoning Israeli cars shot dead, another seriously hurt

Israeli troops opened fire at a group of Palestinians allegedly hurling stones at Israeli cars on the Route 60 highway near the West Bank town of Sinjil, killing one.

According to the Israel Defense Forces, several Israeli cars traveling along Route 60, the West Bank’s main north-south highway, are damaged in the stone-throwing attacks in the area.

Troops stationed nearby ambushed the group of alleged stone throwers, the military says.

One of the Palestinians is killed and another is seriously hurt. The seriously wounded man is being treated by army medics.
