Pompeo didn’t seek PA meetings during visit — report

A Palestinian Authority official says US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo did not request a meeting with any Palestinian officials during his visit to the region.

But Nabil Shaath adds, in an interview with Haaretz, that any such request, had it been issued, would have been rejected by the Palestinians.

The Palestinians have been boycotting the US administration since President Donald Trump recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital in December.
