This year’s Innovate Israel conference in London is underway this morning with over 600 attendees and more than fifty Israeli and international companies exhibiting new technologies in the fields of mobile technology, ecommerce, cyber security, advertising and video.

“We know what Israel can do when it comes to technology,” said conference organizer Daniel Seal of Acrewhite, “And the level of corporate interest we have seen in this year’s event is an indication that the message is getting through”.

One Israeli exhibitor, Gil Hazan of MyCheck a mobile application that allows users to pay for everyday goods and services on their phone.

“We are actually not looking for investors, but rather for business partners and new opportunities for expansion.”

“We don’t usually participate in many conferences, but this is the first conference we didn’t think about twice.  It is important to be a part in the Israeli tech playground, and even more so when we have the opportunity to exhibit on an international stage.”

Among the big names sponsoring the event are Orange Group who have made headlines recently with announcements that they are actively seeking Israeli technologies to add to their portfolio, while speakers include President of Warner Bros. UK, Josh Berger, Director of Facebook in Europe, Middle East and Africa, Julien Codorniou and David Osborne of Israeli law firm Yigal Arnon, and Israel’s Ambassador to the UK, Daniel Taub.

Among the companies on display are Idomoo, which enables clients to integrate customer data and targeted offers into cinematic-quality personalized videos; Goldenfeeds, which generates digital product catalogues for retailers and brands, providing fresh, compliant and rich content that increases conversion and sales; Ourboox, a community platform for writers and illustrators; Cyvera, an innovative provider of cyber defense solutions that protect organizations from sophisticated targeted cyber-attacks; and Evolero, a new one-stop platform for event organizers that harnesses the social web, whose platform is being used for the conference itself.
