A border policeman was stabbed and lightly wounded in Jerusalem on Thursday morning.

The suspected stabber, a young Arab woman, was apprehended by a number of policemen who were nearby at the time of the attack.

The event took place on Salah a-Din street, near the Damascus Gate to the Old City.
