Pipe bomb discovered in Bnei Brak

Police say incident was criminal in nature, not a terrorist attack

A pipe bomb was discovered attached to a vehicle in Bnei Brak and was neutralized by the police on Tuesday. Residents of the area were briefly evacuated while the bomb was defused. No injuries or damage were reported.

The police have launched an investigation and say that the incident was criminal in nature, not a terrorist attack. The owner of the car is known to the police, who said he was the one to alert them to the bomb.
