He also discusses what’s being said about a possible hostage-ceasefire deal — a planned three-phase framework in which Hamas is reportedly no longer demanding an upfront Israeli commitment to a full IDF withdrawal from Gaza and the ending of the war.
Horovitz discusses the latest in Netanyahu’s government coalition, which was able to (narrowly) advance budget legislation even when Otzma Yehudit’s leader, National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, and his party MKs voted against several bills in a show of defiance over Ben Gvir’s demand to fire the attorney general and his frustration at the failure to advance the contentious judicial overhaul bid.
Horovitz also reviews what’s being said by Syrian rebel leader Abu Mohammed al-Julani, a US-designated terrorist with a bounty on his head, who is now speaking about his desire to build a better Syria and avoid future wars.
