Trains traffic in Israel will cease over the weekend, Israel Railways announced Thursday, citing railway work along the Ayalon track in Tel Aviv.

The work will increase the capacity of the tracks, allowing more trains to run at peak hours, Israel Railways said.

The trains will resume operation at 4:00 a.m. Sunday.
