Two brothers from the town of Jaljulia in central Israel are killed in a suspected underworld hit in Haifa, according to police
Samir and Sameh Saeed, both in their 30s, were found in critical condition at a parking lot, with their deaths confirmed at the scene a short while later.
Police say an investigation has been opened, with Hebrew media reporting that information points to the incident being part of a feud between mob families from central Israel.
Violent crime has skyrocketed this year in the Arab community, with the homicide rate — now at 228 — more than twice that of this time last year, which was 106, according to the Abraham Initiatives nonprofit.
