IDF confirms strike on terror cell preparing to fire rockets from Gaza
The Israel Defense Forces confirms conducting a strike on two Palestinian Islamic Jihad operatives who were preparing to fire rockets at Israel from the northern Gaza Strip.
“The attack was carried out in order to remove the immediate threat. A strike was confirmed,” the military says.
The Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry says one person was killed and several injured in the “Israeli escalation.”
