IDF: Troops fired in response to Gaza border breach
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe military denies media reports that Palestinians opened fire at Israeli military equipment or personnel along the Gaza border.
However, the army confirms that troops opened fire as three suspects crossed the northern Gaza security fence and then fled back into the coastal enclave.
“The circumstances of the breach are being investigated,” the army says.
