Law doubling lockdown violation fines passes final Knesset readings
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA bill stepping up enforcement of the lockdown by doubling fines for violators passes its final votes in the Knesset plenum and will become law.
The law, which has been vehemently opposed by the ultra-Orthodox and Arab parties, passes 40-18 in the second reading, and 37-18 in the third and final reading.
