Liberman asks AG to probe ‘subversive’ B’Tselem for urging soldiers to refuse orders in Gaza

Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman says he has asked Attorney-General Avichai Mandelblit to investigate a left-wing group that called on Israeli soldiers to refuse orders to open fire on protesters during clashes along the Gaza border.

In a tweet, Liberman urges the state to “probe the heads of B’Tselem for incitement to disobedience after their call for soldiers to refuse orders in defending the border.”

“This subversive and impermanent organization, together with those who hate Israel and the international media who are trying to delegitimize our soldiers who are acting in a legal and moral manner in a complicated situation,” he says. “We will put an end to this.”
