Livni discusses US-Israel ties, peace prospects with American envoy
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleZionist Union MK Tzipi Livni meets with US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman at the American embassy in Jerusalem for the first time since becoming opposition leader earlier this month.
“The ties between Israel and the US are stragically important, critical for Israel and [we] must preverse them,” Livni writes in a tweet.
She says the two discussed Israel’s security, the prospects for a peace agreement and other regional matters.
