Netanyahu said to shorten historic visit to Gulf from 3 days to just 3 hours
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleDue to the still-high coronavirus infections and the discussions on extending the lockdown, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has significantly shortened his historic visit to Gulf states that recently established ties with Israel from three days to just three hours, Hebrew media reports.
Instead of the planned tour of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Bahrain, Netanyahu will reportedly only briefly visit Abu Dhabi, with the other legs canceled.
Netanyahu’s shortened itinerary includes a meeting with the UAE’s crown prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at his palace.
The visit has already been postponed several times.
