Police: Bystander shot Palestinian suspect armed with screwdriver
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAn initial police investigation finds that a suspect tried to stab an Israeli man with a screwdriver outside a gas station in the West Bank’s Mishur Adumim industrial area, near the Ma’ale Adumim settlement.
A civilian who was driving by saw the suspect running after the man with the weapon in his hand and opened fire, police say.
According to medical officials, the suspect was shot in the head and is in critical condition.
He was taken to Hadassah Hospital Mount Scopus.
No Israeli injuries have been reported.
