Rabbi Abraham Joshua Twerski, a renowned psychiatrist, dies aged 90 of COVID
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAfter the recent death of two prominent ultra-Orthodox Israeli rabbis from COVID-19, American rabbi and psychiatrist Abraham Joshua Twerski has also succumbed to the virus at age 90, according to various reports.
Twerski, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, belonged to the Chernobyl Hasidic dynasty and as a psychiatrist specialized in substance abuse, helping thousands overcome addictions.
He died in Israel after contracting the coronavirus last week.
