Smotrich urges Jewish Home to join slate alongside Otzma Yehudit
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleNational Religious Party chief Bezalel Smotrich urges Jewish Home to join his slate, which includes the far-right Otzma Yehudit.
“Shake our outstretched hand and come to a true partnership,” Smotrich says in a statement.
Meanwhile, numerous officials inside Jewish Home are urging leader Hagit Moshe not to sign with Smotrich unless he guarantees the party two seats in “realistic” spots on the slate, complaining that Smotrich’s decision to join with Otzma Yehudit would leave their party at a disadvantage in a partnership.
