TV: Health Ministry fears huge infection wave if no full curfew on Purim
The Health Ministry is warning that a full lockdown and curfew is necessary on the Purim holiday, set to take place on February 25, Channel 13 reports.
Without taking such drastic steps, Israel is expexted to experience a huge wave of infections in the wake of the holiday known for its parties and revelry.
With serious cases rising despite mass vaccinations, a senior official tells the network: “We are in chaos, it’s not clear how we can get out of it.”
