UK police investigate arson at former synagogue in London, continuing spate of attacks

British counter terrorism police are investigating an arson incident at a former synagogue in east London, authorities say, continuing a series of arson and other attacks on Jewish targets in recent weeks.
Police were called to reports of a fire at the former synagogue earlier today, according to the statement. Police add that minor damage was caused to a set of gates and a lock at the front of the building, with no reports of any persons injured.
