US condemns killing of Lebanese Hezbollah critic, calls for justice
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleWashington is condemning the killing of a leading critic of Hezbollah in Lebanon today.
“The United States condemns the murder of pro-democracy activist Lokman Slim, an outspoken critic of Hezbollah’s corruption and mismanagement,” says Emily Horne, a spokeswoman for the National Security Council.
“The United States calls for Lebanon to enforce rule of law and bring the culprits to justice.”
