An El Al flight made an emergency landing in Budapest, Hungry, early Monday morning after the pilot noticed a technical malfunction in one of the plane’s fuel valves.

The Boeing 737, carrying some 100 passengers, was on its way to Brussels, when the captain noted the malfunction and decided to land in Budapest, where local authorities prepared the airfield for an emergency landing.

Mechanics in Budapest repaired the valve within a short time, and the passengers continued on to their original destination arriving there after a short delay.
