30,000 sign up for unemployment in past 6 hours
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIn the past six hours some 30,000 people have signed up for unemployment payments at the Employment Service, bringing the total number of signups this month to over 550,000.
The head of the Employment Service has said that the number of unemployed people in Israel could reach one million if the coronavirus pandemic causes layoffs to continue at the same rate.
