Court orders PA pay to family of terror victim NIS 3 million

The High Court of Justice orders the Palestinian Authority to pay compensation to the family of an Israeli man who was killed in a terror attack in 2003.

The court orders the PA to pay Amos (Amit) Mantin’s family NIS 3 million ($850,000) for the shooting attack in the Arab Israeli town of Baqa al-Gharbiya.

After he was apprehended by Israeli authorities, the 15-year-old gunman told investigators that he had crossed into Israel after receiving weapons and training at a PA-run refugee camp in Jericho.
