Fatah calls for UN action against Washington over Trump Jerusalem move
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleFatah spokesperson Nasser al-Qidwe calls for diplomatic action at the United Nations against the US over President Donald Trump’s expected decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
“There should be a complaint filed to the Security Council on the dangerous violations committed by the United States in terms of Security Council resolutions,” Qidwe tells reporters in Ramallah.
He says the resolution should reject the change in status quo of the city, demand the US walk back the announcement, and require the US to comply with relevant Security Council resolutions.
