The relatives set up a “no holiday” table in front of Netanyahu’s home.
“We will have no holiday or festival without them – the people of Israel will have no recovery. Tonight, on Rosh Hashanah eve, we sit at this empty table outside the Prime Minister’s residence, with all of Israel standing beside us. Only the people will bring the hostages home,” the Hostages and Missing Families Forum says in a statement.
Hundreds, clad in traditional holiday white, join the families, conducting traditional prayer services for the Jewish New Year.
Several wave the yellow flags that have come to symbolize the struggle to free the hostages.
