IDF says it’s braced for more Hezbollah rockets as Lebanon op expands; no changes in Home Front guidelines

The IDF says it is prepared for the possibility of increased Hezbollah rocket fire on northern Israel as troops push deeper into southern Lebanon.
“Following the expansion of IDF operations in southern Lebanon, and in accordance with the situational assessment, the IDF is preparing for the possibility of fire from Lebanese territory, focused on the northern region,” the military says in a statement.
The IDF says that at this stage, there are no changes to the Home Front Command’s guidelines for civilians.
Meanwhile, sirens warning of rocket fire sound in the Safed area.
