Israel reopens West Bank crossing to car traffic, four days after deadly attack

The Allenby Crossing between Jordan and the West Bank reopens four days after a deadly shooting-and-stabbing attack there, the Airports Authority says in a statement.
The crossing is still closed to humanitarian aid shipments en route to the Gaza Strip, however, until a Jordanian investigation into the attack at Allenby last Thursday — in which an aid truck driver killed two Israeli military personnel — is completed and and the inspection procedures for Jordanian drivers are updated.
On Sunday, Jordan briefly reopened the bridge, but Israeli authorities abruptly closed it again.
