Labor leader ‘glad’ US recognizes Jerusalem as Israeli capital
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleLabor Party leader Avi Gabbay says he is “glad” that Trump has officially recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
“Jerusalem has been a symbol for the Jewish people for thousands of years,” he says in a statement
“After 70 years of existence of the State of Israel, I am glad that our important friend, the United States, recognizes Jerusalem as our capital and is preparing to transfer the embassy,” he says.
