Motorcycle driver killed in accident on Route 1 near Lod in central Israel, medics say
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA motorcycle driver was killed in an accident this morning on Route 1, next to the Lod Junction in central Israel, the Magen David Adom ambulance service says.
The roughly 40-year-old driver was pronounced dead on the scene, and his motorcycle was totaled, MDA says.
Separately, a roughly 30-year-old man riding an electric bicycle was moderately injured this morning in an accident on Tel Aviv’s Herzl Street, the service says, adding that he was taken to the city’s Ichilov Hospital.
