New Hope party member Dani Dayan slams ex-MK Michael Ben Ari — a self-described disciple of the extremist rabbi Meir Kahane — for calling on residents of the Karnei Shomron settlement to boycott the Arab-owned pharmacy in their town.

“Due to the relationship between us, I tried to hold back and not respond to the last horrible tweets of Michael Ben Ari, but after this targeting of a dear individual, I could not hold back. I’m a customer of this pharmacy. The call to harm the livelihood (and perhaps other things beyond that) of a person who serves our community is unforgivable,” tweets Dayan, who recently served as Israel’s consul general in New York.
