The numbers behind the election: 66,017 backed parties that didn’t enter Knesset
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Central Elections Committee says 4,435,805 people voted in Tuesday’s election out of 6,578,084 eligible voters, a turnout of 67.4%.
Of them, 26,239 votes were disqualified. This means the electoral threshold of 3.25% of kosher votes stands at 143,311.
The number of votes that went to parties that didn’t pass that threshold is 66,017.
That means each Knesset seat is worth 36,158 votes.
