TV: Defense chiefs urging politicians not to end Gaza op, citing ‘opportunities’

Israeli security officials are urging political leaders not to end the fighting in Gaza yet, Channel 12 reports.

According to the network, officials are telling leadership that there are at the moment “opportunities” to hit Gaza’s terror infrastructure that should not be missed.

A senior official tells the network that Israel “does not want a ceasefire at this time” as it wants to solidify its gains over Hamas.

Channel 12 also says Defense Minister Benny Gantz has told security chiefs there are at least several more days of combat left.
