UK’s May to speak to Trump over Jerusalem announcement
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleBritish Prime Minister Theresa May says she will speak with US President Donald Trump over his expected decision to officially recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
“I’m intending to speak to President Trump about this matter,” May says according to Reuters. “The status of Jerusalem should be determined in a negotiated settlement between the Israelis and the Palestinians.
“Jerusalem should ultimately form a shared capital between the Israeli and Palestinian states,” May reportedly says.
