A 26-year-old Ramle resident was arrested at Tel Aviv’s Ichilov Hospital Monday on suspicion of stabbing a man to death the night before, police said.

A statement said the suspect was arrested shortly after arriving at the hospital where he was seeking medical attention for injuries he had sustained.

He is suspected of killing a 40-year old man from Taybeh the night before on Tel Aviv’s Galil Street. Police said investigators suspected the murder was the result of a criminal dispute between the two men.

The suspect will be brought to the Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court later in the day for a remand hearing.
