A 19-year-old Jewish youth was arrested on Saturday afternoon on suspicion of involvement in the fight which broke out between Jewish and Arab youths on Thursday night, in which a 17-year-old Arab resident of East Jerusalem was seriously injured.

Following his arrest, the Jewish youth, a resident of Jerusalem, denied the allegations against him. However, his interrogators intended to have him remanded on Sunday.
