Three mortars were fired from the Gaza Strip into southern Israel on Thursday evening.

The explosives landed in open territory in the Eshkol region. No injuries or damage was reported.

The firing follows two weeks of relative calm after Israel agreed on a ceasefire with the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization, in an Egyptian-brokered deal.
