Arson suspected in Hod Hasharon fires
City Hall and a municipal building severely damaged
Police opened an arson investigation after two Hod Hasharon municipality buildings caught fire on Monday night, Israel Radio reported.
One fire broke out in the city hall and another was reported in the local planning committee offices. Acting Mayor Yigal Shimon told Israel Radio that computers and files were destroyed and that the buildings were severely damaged.
Simon added that backup files exist and all of the lost information can be recovered.
