Lebanese army says soldier injured in Israeli drone strike in southern Lebanon

A Lebanese soldier was injured in an Israeli drone strike on southern Lebanon, the Lebanese army says in a statement.

The soldier was hurt as a Lebanese army unit worked to open a road at the entrance to the southern Lebanese town of Kawkaba, the army says.

“A soldier was wounded due to an attack by an Israeli enemy drone as an army unit was working to open the Marjayoun-Hasbaya road,” the Lebanese army says on X.
