‘Jared Kosher’ is Fox’s accidental name for Kushner

On Fox News’ morning show “Fox & Friends” Wednesday, a typo on the ticker referred to Jared Kushner — President Trump’s senior adviser and Jewish son-in-law — as “Jared Kosher.”

The gaffe was documented on Twitter by Mediaite editor Jon Levine.

The typo comes amid an FBI investigation into Kushner’s meetings with Russian figures. Perhaps the Fox employee responsible for the ticker was subtly suggesting a new career path for Kushner — as a kashrut supervisor, perhaps? — or maybe he or she had imbibed one too many “mazel tov cocktails” the night before.

Then again, the network could have been giving its stamp of approval to the meeting which has stirred up such controversy, suggesting that everything was above-board and kosher.
