Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan does not read Arabic, evidently, nor did anyone screen her unfortunate post on Tuesday when she published a sign that read “You’re an ass” in Arabic followed by “You’re beautiful” in English underneath.

“Ente Khmar” in Arabic can also mean “you’re a jackass,” or “you’re a donkey” in the literal sense and generally signifies the target of the compliment is stupid, or a dumbass.

Lohan posted the sign to Instagram Tuesday to her 3.5 million followers, garnering over 30,000 likes and some 4,000 comments — and counting. Most, needless to say, were mocking of the former child star.

Lohan last ran into some Arabic-related trouble in January when she posted a screenshot of an article about the death of Saudi King Abdullah, captioned with the words “Inshallah” — “God willing” in English — and “wallahi” — “I promise to God” — both which make very little sense in the context of the death of someone.

Lohan was reportedly quite close with a member of a prominent, wealthy Saudi family, Mohammed al-Turki, now a Hollywood producer.

After rocketing to stardom for films “The Parent Trap,” “Freaky Friday,” and “Mean Girls,” Lohan has been in and out of rehab with drug problems and had numerous run-ins with the law.
