Couple charged with sexual assault, pornography of woman’s young daughters and infant relatives
A 33-year-old woman and her 43-year-old male partner were indicted at the Lod District Court today for alleged sexual assault and pornographic recording of the woman’s two young daughters and a pair of her infant relatives, prosecutors say in a statement.
The couple, from central Israel, met some 18 months ago on a dating app, the statement says. They allegedly exchanged child pornography, as well as pedophilic messages about children they might have and about the woman’s two daughters, respectively ages 8 and 12.
With the man’s “knowledge and encouragement,” the woman sent him pictures of her own daughters “in various positions, partially dressed, in underwear, bathing suits or nude,” the statement says.
It adds that “at the request and encouragement” of the man, the woman also sent him footage of herself raping the two infant relatives, respectively aged 1 and 3.
On at least two occasions, the man came to the woman’s home and performed indecent acts on the daughters or sexual acts with their mother in their presence, prosecutors say.
After her initial investigation, the woman deleted her correspondence with the man, but the messages were later recovered, according to the prosecutors.
The two suspects are charged on multiple counts, including rape of a relative who is a minor, possession and distribution of child pornography and obstruction of justice.
The indictment itself, including the names of the suspects, is under a gag order. The suspects are in custody, and the Central District Attorney’s Office has asked the court to extend their detention.
