IDF reservists have stopped journalists, including The Times of Israel, from approaching the homes of the two besieged Palestinian families on the outskirts of the village of Qusra, south of Nablus, presenting them with a closed military zone order.
According to the soldiers, they are Home Front Command reservists, rather than local settlement defense forces (Hagmar). Asked why, if there is a closed military zone order barring Israelis and other outsiders from entering the area, they are not evacuating the settlers surrounding the Palestinian homes, the soldiers said they are waiting for Border Police to arrive and remove them.
Earlier today, forces arrived and dismantled the shelter that had been erected at the entrance to the two homes, but settlers remained at the site, and the residents are still besieged.
