A building in the Eshkol Regional Council was directly hit by a rocket during the recent bombardment by Palestinian terrorists in Gaza.
A spokesperson says the family was not at home at the time.
Two projectiles also fell in communities in the region, but did not cause damage or injuries.
The regional council also cancels the order requiring all residents to remain in their bomb shelters, but stresses they should remain close to the shelters.
