Hamas says Israel bombed home of its deputy leader in Gaza

According to official Hamas media, the Israeli military conducted an airstrike on the home of senior Hamas official Khalil al-Hayya in Gaza City.

Al-Hayya, a member of the Hamas political bureau and the deputy leader in the coastal enclave, lives in the Shejaiya refugee camp in Gaza City.

There are no immediate reports of casualties and it’s unclear Al-Hayya was home at the time of the alleged strike.
