Rescued hostage Noa Argamani celebrates her father Yaakov’s birthday with him, family members and medical staff at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv.

Noa Argamani was rescued earlier today from Gaza by officers of the police’s elite Yamam counter-terrorism unit, along with Shin Bet agents and IDF forces in a heroic coordinated mission. Argamani was extracted from a house in central Gaza’s Nuseirat, while fellow captives Almog Meir Jan, Andrey Kozlov and Shlomi Ziv were rescued from a nearby house in the same refugee camp.

Argamani was originally taken by helicopter to Sheba Medical Center in Ramat Gan with the other freed hostages. However, she was transferred for ongoing care at Ichilov so that she could be close to her mother Liora, who is being treated there for stage four terminal brain cancer.
